When Libertyville High School began searching for a new scheduling platform, the transition wasn’t entirely by choice. Changes to their previous system meant schools across Illinois would soon need a new solution. As Assistant Athletic Director Chris Davis and his team evaluated options, one factor quickly separated Bound from the rest.
“One of the biggest determining factors why we chose Bound were the people… being able to have people to contact and to be able to get responses from.”
For Chris, who has spent more than a decade handling scheduling and operations in the athletics office, switching systems meant learning an entirely new structure. Having a responsive team available to answer questions made that process far less daunting.

As onboarding began, Libertyville worked closely with Bound specialists to configure the platform for the upcoming school year. Chris described the process as learning “the Bound language,” where many familiar tasks exist but are organized differently than in their previous system.
“That response time is something that’s really big to us… feeling like we have a partner trying to help us learn how to use Bound.”
Whether asking questions during setup or reaching out through the in-app chat, Chris said the quick responses and willingness to problem-solve have made the transition feel collaborative rather than overwhelming.
