At Roland-Story High School, Athletic Director Andrew Lundgren was no stranger to the hassles of managing event ticketing. Dealing with physical cash caused headaches and inefficiencies for everyone, chief among them being the constant worry of tampering or fraud.

"Before, there was a lot of cash, people just walking up and giving the money to our people...We had to make sure that the cash is in a safe spot.”

When the district switched to Bound, Andrew found a system that was not only easy to learn, but constantly improving.

The transition to Bound’s digital ticketing with the new Bound card readers eliminated friction and the need for constant monitoring of cash at the gate.

"It's really easy to get workers to do our ticketing for events because they know that once they go through the short training period of learning how to use the Bound Card Readers correctly, it's really easy and really efficient to use."

Ticket takers no longer deal with change, and Andrew no longer has to hover over the gate. “I know that our ticket takers are in a good place and don't have to worry about a whole lot of stuff.”

Andrew can now see sales in real time, and pull reports whenever needed. "I can jump on during the game and see what our ticket sales are looking like. I can also go in and pull reports the very next day [and] understand what we have financially to be able to work with," said Andrew.
