Bound Success Stories: Ticketing

One Place, One Login: How Eisenhower Moved Seven Systems into Bound

"Our people think it's the greatest thing since sliced bread. People are signed up to work and the slots are full, because now they know how easy it is."

Tony Douglas | Eisenhower High School Activites Director

Seven old systems.

Before Bound, Tony Douglas was running Eisenhower's athletic department across seven separate systems — physicals in one place, tickets in another, live stream in another, calendar in another, contracts in another. Seven logins, seven passwords, and seven places to send a parent who just needed one answer. He described it as a "schizophrenic athletic department".

Consolidation was the draw, and ticketing turned out to be where it paid off fastest. Eisenhower runs tickets and concessions on Bound's card readers, and the hardware removed the friction that used to define game-night staffing. Workers sign up through Bound, get assigned by Tony ahead of time, and receive automated reminders. The readers are simple enough that the barrier to working an event essentially disappeared — to the point that Tony now has staff competing over open slots.

The ticketing benefits scaled beyond one building. All 24 schools in the Ark Valley-Chisholm Trail League run Bound across four divisions, using the same ticketing and registration setup with league-wide agreed pricing. Fans buy tickets for home and away games from one site rather than navigating to each opposing school's platform

"We're not all over the place trying to find where do we go get this as a league."

The operational effects compound from there. Game-night programs no longer require assembly — Tony attaches a QR code or downloads a PDF and it's done. Rosters live in one system instead of a shared Drive folder that schools populated inconsistently.

Support has matched the product. Tony's league received an in-person training day, and ongoing help comes through a direct point of contact rather than an anonymous queue — people who, in his framing, "speak athletic director".

Simplify Payments

By running ticketing and concessions on Bound card readers, Eisenhower has made both stations easy enough for any worker to operate — turning staffing from a recruitment problem into a waitlist.

Integrate Functions

By bringing registration, scheduling, ticketing, concessions, worker management, and the athletic website into a single platform, Bound has eliminated the login sprawl and given parents, coaches, and administrators one destination.

Standardize Leaguewide

By putting all 24 AVCTL schools on the same ticketing and registration infrastructure with unified pricing, Bound has replaced shared drives and manual coordination with one shared system.
