For years, Wisconsin athletic directors operated inside a single shared system — schedules visible school to school, contracts sent back and forth, and everything talking to everything else. It worked. Then a competitor bought the platform, and the landscape changed underneath them. For Jeff Behrens, Athletic and Activities Director at Pewaukee High School, the disruption was also an opening. He'd heard of Bound. This was the moment to take a serious look.
Jeff made the move roughly 18 months ago, and registration became the anchor of the whole operation. Once athletes are registered in the platform, everything downstream follows: rosters build correctly, athlete materials live in one place, data collects automatically, and stats have something to attach to.

Building on that foundation, Pewaukee now runs scheduling, ticketing, facilities, and its website through Bound as well. The integration is the point: Jeff never leaves his dashboard, whether he's working in facilities or activities. Parents and community members get a single site where they can find schedules, buy tickets, and read game summaries generated from Bound stats.

The support made the transition manageable. Between video tutorials and a team that responds almost immediately — and is staffed largely by former athletic directors who understand the question before it's fully asked — the learning curve stayed short. And the network effect Wisconsin lost is rebuilding: Jeff thinks over 50% of schools in the state now run Bound.
