Big changes ahead

Like many of you, we were surprised to hear that Arbiter will be shutting down rSchool. Users will be required to switch to Arbiter Game, while much remains unknown as to how that alternative will play out.

We have been migrating schools from rSchool to Bound for several years now and I want to thank everyone who has made the switch and shared their feedback. We know that switching your scheduling software is a big decision and a critical part of running a strong program. We view ourselves as a partner on this journey and it's a responsibility that we take very seriously.

To that end, I want to share a foundational concept of the Bound platform and how it's only been strengthened by school feedback.

One platform to manage everything

Bound is one platform that enables athletic directors to manage every aspect of their programs. We've built the tools that ADs across the country have asked for, bringing everything together in one place, with just one login.

Today, Bound can help your school manage:
  • Scheduling
  • Activity Registration
  • Officials Assignment
  • Facility Management
  • Camps and Community Education
  • Merchandise and Booster Stores
  • Fundraising
  • Ticketing
  • Sponsorship
  • Social Media Promotion
  • Transportation
  • Live Links
  • District Management
  • Rostering
  • Score and Stat Entry
  • Family Accounts
  • Best in Class Mobile App
  • and more...

Talk to our team about migrating to Bound.

Change is hard

As we built the Bound platform and migrated schools, we've logged thousands of hours of conversations with athletic leaders across the country. Some of them had been using rSchool for more than 15 years(!) and the idea of changing established processes was a tough hurdle to overcome. Nobody wants to have to learn a new app (and migrate their data) and the natural tendency was to stick with rSchool. Now, sticking with rSchool isn't an option and everyone is faced with the question of what tool they will use next.

Our goal with Bound was never to recreate existing scheduling systems. Our goal was to build the best possible platform for managing your athletic programs.

Where are we headed?

Our mission at Bound is to help athletic directors lead more and manage less.

What does that mean in practice? We talk to our customers every week. What we hear is that while they do want help tracking and managing their schedule, they need their schedule to work harder for them, reducing duplicate entry, eliminating errors, streamlining processes, automating routine tasks, empowering staff and activating volunteers.

In other words, they need help with running their entire athletic program.

Managing schedules is necessary, but it’s just scratching the surface of what’s required to actually help athletic directors lead their programs. Frankly, our industry has been stuck at the "schedule management” phase for far too long. There has been very little innovation in this space for the past 15 years.

We created Bound to fix that.

As you consider what to do amidst the rSchool transition, we hope you join us at Bound as we build the future of athletic program management. We’re passionate and committed to helping you lead more and manage less.
